Steelers' Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf Forming 3-Headed Monster w/Run Game? | Not Moving TJ Watt is OK
Description
Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast.
The Pittsburgh Steelers' Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf have been improving their chemistry, but Christopher Carter sees them developing a 3-headed monster in the offense. The third head? An efficient running game, whether it's Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell or Kaleb Johnson at running back. But with Metcalf's ability to turn in-breaking routes into big plays and his size to make it difficult for cornerbacks to jam him at the line, combining that with a strong run game could make for a very difficult time for defenses to plan against. Also, Chris takes you into his recent interviews with Steelers coaches as outside linebackers coach Denzel Martin explains why they still aren't moving TJ Watt as much as other outside linebackers. Also, Teryl Austin explains why the Steelers still believe in Keeanu Benton as the team's future nose tackle. Chris thinks it ties to past plans for how the team saw the potential of Javon Hargrave in between Cam Heyward and Stephon Tuitt years ago, only now with Heyward, Yahya Black and Derrick Harmon in their places.
